God cannot erase the infinity that separates him from creatures. There is one God and monotheism is not a perspective of competing religions. God can demand mercy and forgiveness from humans but humans can never become God. Christian doctrines about fellowship with God and the truly breathtaking realities of exquisite godliness will never include omniscience or eternity
“… who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.”
1 Timothy 6:16, NASB
God calls us his people, his nation of priests, his sons (children, because women are included), his servants, and his friends. He gives us an unbreakable connecting help line and millions of us who have grasped the offer are being distracted by the glitter of ritualistic elementary halos. Even so the light from which all the divine excellence flows is beyond our comprehension, beyond our reach, is Christ, God the Word. Just think! God must be brighter than all the suns in the universe, kinder than all the physicians put together, more reliable and faithful than all the believers and loyal obedient ones.
