“He took great pride in the ways of the Lord and again removed the high places and the Asherim from Judah.” (2 Chronicles 17:6, NASB)

We might say and see that in our enlightened state it is infinitely more beneficial to take pride in and be diligent about  the Way of the Lord than to monitor all the ways of the Lord, and that separates me from the kings of Judah and all of the people descended from Abraham.
