Grieve and be relieved because I have a heart

What would you do if you lost all your possessions?

Not grasping precisely what possessions are included in the ALL in the question, I know that I would grieve and be relieved.  Some losses would be exceedingly grievous, others would cause a sigh of relief because the connection to the possession is no more.   The energy I am accustomed to expending on my property for maintenance and repair can be spent elsewhere.

Loss of all would bring a new day, and an opportunity to contemplate that having a mind – a heart –  to grasp the seismic movement that loss brings  pointing me in  a new and  hopeful directions would be necessary.

Deeper wells, be grateful for the ability to care for anyone at all within reach

What’s your #1 priority tomorrow?

Tomorrow is here; this Sunday night’s a well lit cave, from which I begin to brave the light of day; my day, one more among my tens of thousands.  If my brain, body, mind and spirit work, I will take my sobriety to the next level and seek out my friends and watch for new ones, with whom I can share a thought, a smoothie, even a single grape or nut, and hope to receive a smile that matches or exceeds mine.

The history of religious movements in the United States of America

Which topics would you like to be more informed about?

The silence from the large faith communities on the corruption of secular and sacred standards would be better understood if the histories of American denominations could be found in easily accessible media.  Religious interests are too deeply entrenched in the turmoil of the twenty-first century to be kept under wraps.

Other interests of mine are the role of religious authorities in secular affairs, the actual progress of cancer research, and the  formulas used by regional governments to fund public projects.
