The volume of empty sayings we repeat would be fewer if we stopped reciting without insight. It cannot be that we merely incite more futility.

How it is that public opinion in China is only what the communist party says? Why is “all men are created equal” not the holy grail of nationalists, especially the American versions?

The smell of human waste means there’s an outhouse nearby. If we cannot smell it we have become palaces of fecal matter. Check the very fine people in your legislatures and houses of worship and spiritual exercises.

Now that the lawyers are all going mad on radio and television defending fascism and covering up their elephantine xenophobia instead of going to town at the table to make good laws I think I hear the bell of totalitarian exile coming. Who is to blame for turning a blind eye to America’s kaleidoscope? Government or people?
