One part of this land, one precious part of Turtle Island, bleeds and reels from senseless violence, and we all bleed and reel. Our smile can still be seen in our resolve not to be sleepwalking through this uninvited opportunity to make ourselves whole and more mature through love and caring even at a distance.

Oh God, please keep our land glorious and free!
