Kingdom without a King

The State of Israel burst onto the stage with not much of a flourish, even though it is claimed that the return of Jews to Palestine was a fulfilment of a host of divine prophecies.  The manipulation of its colonies in the Middle East by Great Britain seemed like a good idea to everyone except the people on the ground at the Partition of Palestine.  Even more disturbing is Jewish blindness to the nature of their new state, and the conflicting interests of  Jew and Gentile powerbrokers.  It defies explanation how Jewish leaders can still affirm the viability of Mosaic religion without the installation of its central components: ritual worship and the monarchy.  Israel without a visible king is a loonless loonie.

How much more misguided can a people be?  Israel is a poor facsimile of the entity envisioned by their true Monarch.  Israel needs to retreat, take time to evaluate its roots and branches, and arrive at the Branch that holds out the promise of fruit.

Jewish identity may sound like its source is Judah or Judea.  This would cover up the fate of the northern kingdom of 10 tribes which was exiled and dispersed following the sacking of the capital, Samaria.  A Judahite or Judean origin reveals the same dispersion, exile and sacking of the capital, Jerusalem.

The true origin of Jewish identity is Abraham, a man whose role as father of the faithful cannot be annulled by Mosaic tradition.  The temple is history and will be history if rebuilt.   Fulfilment of the Israelite family’s hopes rest with the one appointed to rule.  It cannot be the Chief Rabbi or some mortal Davidide.  Israel needs its king.  A Davidide and outward-looking king is Israel’s salvation.  Dependance on the United States or the force of arms is futile.

Israel’s elevation of Mosaic traditon over the patriarchal wisdom has put the modern Jew into an untenable position.  David and his son Solomon were willing to do the one thing a Jew is most reluctant to do, as long his teacher is Moses; include Gentiles in every aspect of life.  Every kingdom needs a king.  Watch out for the rabbinic discussions (and arguments) about Israel’s Davidide king and the unravelling of Mosaic Judaism.

The Corruption of Violence. Talking about Eight foreign medics shot dead in north Afghanistan – Yahoo! Canada News

So we have made another discovery to add to what we know the Taliban to be proud of.  Murder, misogyny, child-abuse are written in the taliban psyche.  Killing soldiers whose mission is as sacred as moms’ breasts,  kidnapping teachers whose duties are aimed at lifting the veil from secret Islamic learning, are all common and welcomne.  Taliban claims to have killed eight missionaries, and what did they expect?  Were Christians expected to break out into demonstrations and violence against mosques?  When will they ever learn?   What school did they attend?
When was the last time anyone heard the Islamic community lamenting the cruelty of the Taliban and the shrill hatred of Pakistani tribesmen. Now that the two-faced Musharraf (of Pakistan) is gone, there is a chance for  the people of Afghanistan and Pakistan to free themselves from religious bigotry and the abomination of violence.  Centuries of isolation have created the illusion that their culture was a divine gift taht needed to imposed on others.  The Jews had the same idea and ended up in exile.  A similar fate awaits the Islamic states that encourage the oppression of widows, orphans and aliens. Impossible you think?   Men have been able to turn deserts into oases and poverty-stricken tribes into tycoons of oil, and Giod is able to turn the dreams of Islamic wanna-be emperors into useless bits of dandelion flowers.   Regime change is not over!  Obama is a welcome respite from the hardball of international politics.
By any analysis, it was violence that constituted the corruption at the time of the flood.  Violence against the Christian chuch only made it expand and grow.  Violence against women only makes them more skeptical of the love that men say they have.  Violence against “infidels” ony shows the bankrupt state of Islam.  It is not only Taliban who encourage violence against Muslims and non-Muslims and it is not the United States and Christians alone who know that Islam is a scourge, a caricature of Judasism.
The western powers are prone to and very likely to annihilate the Taliban and what will be left of them will be of no consequence.  The efforts of decent people will ensure that regimes like the Taliban will never gain a foothold anywhere on this planet again.  The western military minds are this hour planning how to subdue terror practiced by Islamic states and activist groups.  It will happen.  The guardians of global security will not allow Muslims to turn around centuries of real libeery and dignity for men, woman and children, and they have no illusions about the virtues of a “religious state”.
Those who are quick to take sides in the fight will have a great deal of re-thinking to do.  Support for the Zionist State,  participation in the real estate market, over-crowded jails, inordinate violence by law-enforcement, and the abuse of immigrants are the pandora’s box of our times.  Men who seemed to be beyond reach, reputable and reliable leaders of religion, will fall like meteors, crashing into the atmosphere.  Violence is everywhere!
With this kind of violence – against western non-combatants – increasing a new regime-change model is about to be unleashed.  Weapons of war wll be useless.  People had better get ready for some real soul-searching and be willing to adjust their lifestyle to something more natural and simple.  The race to be incharge is almost over.  Bye, bye, Taliban and company.

Economic Justice

The Canadian loonie (dollar) is nudging up to parity with the American dollar.  On THurday September 2oth, the Candian dollar reached 99.87 cent in value.  Consumers have long lamented the disparity between two very competitive neighbours’ dollar value.  If the rich have anything to say or do about this recent development they will deny the average consumer this taste of justice.

The US government and a few of its global allies have long dominated global economics matters with their stock market shenanigans, trade imbalances and consumer goods price manipulation – all in the name of good citizenship.  Gone are the days when the right to violate national sovereignties of others and hijack are exclusively European or American.  Somewhere a tycoon is weeping because the Canadian dollar have risen to new and threatening heights.  Somewhere a tired labourer is rejoicing and hoping that prices on both sides of the US-Canada border will stabilize.

Economic power is in a new era with the rise of China and the organization of new alliances.  The Euro has consistently outperformed the US dollar and African nations may soon rise from the pits of nepotism and greed to empower their populations.  Justice (American) usually calls for retaliation and retribution, but this is something we will never see, at least not as an American initiative.  We can safely assume that the rich wil not begin distributing their wealth to the poor, and the poor can hardly wait to plunder those who have long oppressed the.  Let the plutocrats beware!  All those who have suffered deprivation and violence should be ready to receive their just due.  Economic justice is just as important as criminal justice.

Where, oh where, is Robin Hood when we need him?

Talking about Caledonia protest ends peacefully

Caledonia protest ends peacefully

(video link removed)

A shouting match between about 50 non-aboriginals and 100 aboriginals at the site of an ongoing native occupation in Caledonia, Ont., appeared to be the only tense moment at a protest on Saturday.

Breathing a sigh of relief, "no violence", is matched by by the silence of Canduian jurisprudence and parliament over the theft of First Nations land in Caledonia and in hundreds of other silent-for-now Canadian communities.  Do not these two hallowed institutions know injustice when they see it?

A shouting match is unambiguous violence.  Do not be deceived!  The observer is advised to exercise discretion.  The trouble is between the idea that some people have more rights than others.  White people still think they have the right to North America, South America, Africa, and every region they have visited and are ever more willing to go to war to prove it. The Harper government is our witness.

The end of the protest will loom full-screen when the Canadian people demand that First Nations become what they were before Europens arrived: sovereign.  Canada’s First Nations struggle against incredible racism in the 21st century and at the same time have very good reasons to hope and build on heir gains.  A few goodwill treaties between First Nations and the Canadian government have been signed in the last few decades.

Racism in Canada is as big as ever.  Forget what the media says.  Just ask your neighbour.  Ask your government to end its support or maintenance of racism anywhere in the world.

Little Progress after 34, 000 Dead In Iraq

It is incredible to think that there are still people who actually believe anything the American President and the British Prime Minister say about Iraq.  This duo has convinced some people, mostly media outlets, that the arrival of violence on American soils in September 2001 was a turning point in global history.  That is about as insightful as saying snow in winter is a crisis.
These two leaders are the recipients of an extremely violent heritage.  Britain’s empire days are clearly over.  Britannia can hardly rule the island much less the waves of earth’s oceans.  British leadership is facing the time of their lives trying to convince their own people that the days of prejudice and White privilege are over. The Americans, still considered the most disingenuous entity on earth, once circled the globe, enslaving nations and peoples. need to say something other than let’s get democratic.  The nations of the Middle East and Far East have survived for millennia without western supervision.
The bloodletting that followed the overthrow of Iraq’s government is a lesson for those who think they are leaders in international politics.  Don’t kill anything you cannot resurrect or recreate.
If some-one says that the American initiative in Iraq is a no-good bastard, one would be perfectly right.  Thousands dying each month in Iraq cannot in any way called "better than Saddam Hussein".  The Duplicitous Duo (Bush and Blair) have ruined Iraq, and made sure bad blood will flow between East and West for centuries to come.
Iraq’s wealth is being drained into American pockets.  This may be the only thing that can be called progress in Iraq, and as we suspected, it is progress that does not touch Iraqi lives.
More Americans will die before the kind of Iraq the Duo wants emerges, but far more Iraqis will die to achieve that dying duplicitous dream.
