Raining Down Vomit and Excreta at the Dinner Table

Watching the circus across the United States I get a jolt of pride that my mother, Africa, is not an imperial serial rapist. My smile is not without a twinge of pity for the deceived millions, who have bought the idea that capitalism and democracy are the essential paths to greatness.

The GOP and its heartless talking heads are temporarily incapable of repenting of following a broken foundation. At least there is hope that a remnant -preferably young people – will call the the attempt to make a beast a person what it is: silly rebellion. The U.S. was born out of rebellion. Remember?

Maintaining
America’s
Greedy
Aspirations

Idiotic isn’t it? Any fool with a gun becomes a patriot, defending stolen land, and denying people the very cradle that bore the nation.
By the way, any nation built by bloody hands is, to speak kindly, an abomination.

People are gobbling up what ever is on the table: at church, work or school. The enduring foundations of family life and secular society did not begin in the middle ages or in the 19th century. If the leaders who got us into the Middle East mess or the abominable support for Nazism, violence against women, and misogyny or sold our future to China, had glanced at Abraham, father of the Jewish people, we would be light years ahead of the current devastation that makes even a civilized conversation implausible.

Let us watch the game until the next revolution comes around. It will not be on TV or YouTube.

Government Silence over Fallen Warriors

The White House and the Pentagon were mum, and they might as well still be, for twelve days after four soldiers died at the hands of unknown assailants in Niger.

One obvious reason comes to mind.  Those superficial generals forced the real generals to hold back the truth.  The other is that no one attached to the White House could find any alternative truths to tell the sad story of four fallen soldiers and especially to tell how one of them was left behind a temporarily, and why a widow was not allowed the solace of seeing her husband’s remains.

They should have remained silent because the former general, now White House chief of staff, ostensibly tasked with curbing a undisciplined and characterless president, opened his mouth and unleashed a truckload of the same fecal matter that he was supposed to be preventing.

Forgive me, if you have any such resources left, because this fallout and general (no pun intended) failure to tell the truth has been present in religious circles for decades.  People who should be giving us the facts about our salvation seem to have an endless supply of opinions and incredible (literally) alternative explanations.

The 45th president has generals like Sessions and Kelly who are incapable of being genuine and honest until their personal feelings are hurt and who all are reaching for some questionable past greatness.

This inability to feel for other people and the reach for past greatness, an Israel caricature to be sure, are also present among religious people. This lead me to hypothesize that politicians have seen that lies and talking points move people and work well among religious people.  Hence we have a host of  rabid surrogates lining up to defend silence and despicable ideologies.  I also have, to be fair,  to add up the fact that few religious people actually love the unlovely while they say that is their highest ideal.

The picture that comes to mind is that of a preacher frothing at the mouth about some perceived blessing or curse with an open Bible in his hand but not daring to show us where the Bible actually says what they are talking about.  Silence can be golden but in this case it is a symptom of the lowest facets of humanity just when the highest quality of interaction is needed.

Confronting the senseless 45ers.

Cooper to Conway: Your answer makes no sense

http://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2017/05/10/kellyanne-conway-james-comey-intv-cooper-ac.cnn

Commentators often appear to be experts and that perception gets sidelined when the anchors actually host an expert or two.  Nothing changes however when the fact remains that potus45 was a hero for many Americans in spite of what was known about him.

The impunity with which he dumped his venom was never confronted until after the election, and just barely. Cooper’s unvarnished confrontation of lady Alternative Facts lacked one simple approach: asking closed questions, leaving the guest lots of room to try to hide a yes or no in the anti-Obama slop that 45’s surrogates relish.

The media is waking up and somewhat late.  Factchecking doesn’t work if one’s father is the father of lies.   Lies in business, lies in politics!  Just what America needs to redeem itself.  One lie to the FBI and the holodeck reality nightmare of potus45 disappears like wax in the presence of fire.

The people who bring us the news do not need confrontation per se.  It is far better to contend for the good that is America, than to to go chasing the backward-looking dream of a quasi-magnate and sparring with a rag tag band of  deluded robots.   A good dose of courage and strategic interrogation will stop 45’s surrogates dead in their serpentine tracks.

Cillizza: Trump’s most dangerous move

http://www.cnn.com/2017/05/09/politics/james-comey-firing-trump-analysis/index.html

Just when we thought we had seen the bottom of the barrel with POTUS 45 he terminates Mr. Comey’s directorship of the FBI.  Ruthless? Yes.  Thoughtless?  Somewhat.  Dangerous? Unequivocally.  If we could hear the real reason for Comey’s firing the danger would be easily addressed, but the GOP are more interested in clinging to their adversarial M.O.  Eight years of blocking Mr. Obama have sealed their character as hassatan, the adversary.

Repeal and replace was the clarion call on the campaign trail and after 8 years they seem incapable of writing a bill to replace the Affordable Care Act.   There is no sign of a plan that will work and make Americans comfortable about their healthcare.

Does 45 forget asking Russia to gather evidence against Mrs. Clinton?  Why is it that praise for the FBI Director vanishes at the first sign of an investigation into Russian collusion with the GOP campaign?

I thought that businessmen were facilitators of employment and dignity.  The quasi-magnate who won the 2016 election made his mark by firing people, discriminating against immigrants and Black people, and hurling slurs at decent people.

Firing Comey is a fatal move.  It kills any chance of the White House to bask in the admiration of the American people.  45 will keep firing until he is all alone with his incompetent family and Altright “angels”.

It is now five months since 45 fired Comey and the fired or resigned list is now past 8.  All the great people in the inner circle are gone.   If the 45ers think of 45 as a loaded weapon they do well to remember that magazines run out and lies eventually tangle up their propagators.

The Triumph of Buffoonery

Who would have thought that a public figure in modern politics in the 21st. century could advocate a ban on a religious group and get away with repeating it? Since starting to write this article at the beginning of the United States Election campaign I have learned that when Donald Trump opens his mouth it is either a cliché or mind-numbing, hateful nonsense that spills out. Of course there are many that love him, like what he says, but I do not have to listen to him unlike the increasing number of people who have not distanced themselves from his voice. When that love fades to accountability they too will likely face the mind-numbing and hateful nonsense. The GOP has not yet officially called the Trumphoon (trumpcard buffoon) on the targeting of Muslims or the greatness of America.
It will not be long before the Republicans heave him over the side and thank him for saying the kinds of things they have wanted to say for decades but could not for fear of offending an increasingly sensitive and polarized population and for fear of being exposed as the party with a hateful agenda. If an outsider like Trumphoon can speak the truth about immigration and crime using crude terms and use damaging stereotypes then the GOP has the campaign shenanigans made. Trumphoon is going to jail if he keeps up the hate speech! When someone as unhinged as the Trumphoon can win the White House then Americans will have scraped a hole in the bottom of the barrel.
How is it that the psychologists have not designed a test for racism? Or how can the news outlets not have a scale for measuring inflammatory nonsense? It’s an election, they say, meaning “anything goes”. Conscientious theologians have designed tests for legalism, racism, literacy, idolatry, capitalism, and Pharisaism. The level of nincompoopery and ignorance being spewed out by the trumphoon if found among theologians finds shelter only in backroom churches.
Will American politicians find the courage to strain out buffoonery? Unlikely. They have so perverted their way – to the extent that the term politician has become abhorrent – they obviously need to wake the founding fathers. No tycoon, governor, senator, mayor, or congressman can claim to have particular insight. The Trumphoon alone has a brain. America needs a make-over and everyone who imagines that the declaration of independence and the Constitution are perfect documents is a deluded idolater. Just watch what happens when informed people evaluate the Buffoon’s assumed success and the documented greatness of America. The leaders who are not intoxicated by either buffoonery or imaginary business acumen must call out the supreme buffoon.
Are we not seeing the same kind of meltdown that has accompanied the eclipsing of ancient Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome? These ancient world-ruling empires crashed after asserting themselves as sovereign and omnipotent. As we come to the modern era we find the likes of Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Great Britain and the United States of America populating the empire-scape. All of them established great reach of their power across the globe and sometimes quietly returned to relative obscurity. The call now is for the United States and its allies to take the lead and maintain civil society in its greater forms. As noble as this initiative is so is its founding principle ignoble, and therefore destined to fail. Are not our modern nations and alliances already at the top of their game?
Which is where we run into the trumphoon. He wants to make America “great again”. America was never great! Great Britain was! So the mighty buffoon needs to speak more clearly on what America’s greatness entails. Let him just try. His lead in the polls cannot be separated from the Republican base.
Who can those Trumphoon fans be? Can he stretch the truth to deny that his audiences are Republicans just as he denies being a politician? His lead in the polls also tells us about the lust for power among Americans who strive to become leaders.
Community among humans seems to have always had, more or less, a dependence on the sage, the shaman, the expert the lawyer, the ruler, the hero, the warrior and the monarch. The king is a tycoon because he owns everything and whatever we can claim ownership of is taxable by the king. Pluralism allows us to choose any of these leader types as our anchor. Many tycoons have little in their life-ledger besides cash and business fortune. If he is really rich he is also really close to losing a chance of ever being a kingdom child: either greed or apathy hounds him, and from the Trumphoon’s repeated slurs and thin skin, it is quite obvious that he is a hateful and abominable person.
I’d rather have a sage, a shaman, an expert, a lawyer, a business major, a hero, or a warrior. Times have not changed much because people still despise a tycoon. Rich people may have the admiration and jealousy of millions but when the chips are counted rich individuals get the shaft because the loyalty of a rich person is likely to be vested in their riches and not in a principle or supreme Being.
This tycoon’s foray into politics signals one more – maybe the last – attempt by one more “professional” person to make sweeping claims about personal efficiency. George Bush and Sarah Palin are examples of persons with governor experience but what a disappointment both have been!
If Muslims can be deemed offensive and be banned from entering the United States what other group may find itself facing a ban or some other sanction? What is the trumphoon saying about Muslims born and raised in the United States? Respect for the law is paramount in the USA so somebody had better soon shake the trumphoon from his stupor and let the American people conduct their election without inflammatory, hateful, and crude terminology. If not the temple comes down with a crash and American greatness will almost instantly be visible across the globe as oppression, tyranny, prostitution, torture, and with the exception of (to quote an American president) a few “points of light” sheer buffoonery. Finally we will see the American heart rejoicing that they have a trump card, one that is as wild as wild cards come, so wild as to close the door on America’s population and community-building matrices. Sheer buffoonery has reached high places and defies evaluation.

God Dunks the GOP

The real brave and the free spoke loud and clear in the 2012 US election. The incumbent Barack Obama made decent people all over the world proud with a decent and dignified campaign. The notion that a nation can best use a businessman at the helm has been handily defeated. The dream of a theocracy is like Moses, dead. There is great joy that God has dunked the GOP’s unrealistic expectations.
All the polls about a close race should awaken us to the manipulation of news and facts by the big media outlets like FOX and CNN.
Let cooperative government begin!

Racing for the Cash Cow

Governor Mitt Romney seems to have forgotten his lines in the third round of the presidential debates. Or was it that he was told to stick to the script? He kept returning to the last four years or just simply four years. Poor Governor. He found himself repeatedly having to agree with the truth – President Barack Obama has done a remarkable job with the economy, foreign affairs and of keeping the country safe. The Republicans can hope and dream, but their candidate is no Sarah Palin, and at least, the shrill and sometime soundbyte duchess from Alaska was able to stir up the crowds with her ignorance. Somewhere in the dark chambers of the GOP someone thought that a busines-person could best speak to the capitalist dream. Governor Romney is a ruthless business-person – they are all expected to be, but he seems to think that he is in the race to be business-person of the year or of the Americas. Not once did the GOP acknowledge that the wars in the Middle East, under two gentlemen of the Bush family, ate up the money the people of the United States had saved. Not once did the governor even refer to the “with us or against us” ultimatum to the world that the Republican party supported, which was such an insult to friends and neighbours who clearly stood with the hurting American people, but who were not willing to shed any blood in response to the World Trade Centre attacks, that the United States is still trying to rebuild its relationships with real friends and some supposed allies.

Who besides American (and the mostly Asian and Canadian) wannabes is convinced that capitalism is what makes the world livable, enjoyable or safe? Who, pray tell, believes that business operatives can be trusted to heal the ills of modern society. It seems to me that the people whom the GOP and ostensibly Governor Romney can call on to create jobs are uncooperative hate-filled and discriminatory patriots, because it remains to be seen whether they are refusing to create jobs while a democrat is in the White House. It is true, some Americans are more equal than others.

Watching Mitt Romney make claims about his capacity to lead the civilized makes some people wish they could get back George Walker Bush. GW did not pretend to be anything. GW did not pretend to know a great deal about anything beyond the state of Texas. This Romney character however is incredibly ignorant of how the lines he’s been given to chant expose the venom that has recently characterized the Republican Party and its offshoot Tea Party.

Everyone knows that the GOP wants to start another war: that is the only way they know how to keep Americans excited about jobs and patriotism. Then when the election rolls around, they will expect all to fall in behind the commander-in-chief, and not rock the ship of state with changes at the top.

The cruelty of the GOP and its game of capitalizing on the ignorance of many Americans is evident when the Governor’s poor record on education, his personal choices for investment, and the claim that Israel has been neglected. I do not see people in the west weeping for the sins of Germany and not for the sins of NATO and ASEAN and all the other alliances that claim priority. Americans had better start getting used to the fact that the Zionist State is nobody’s friend. It has no real friends, but many people call themselves friends of the Jewish State and the Jewish people. Americans will recognize the concerns for civic society in Palestine when the wild animal traits of all the parties are exposed. The GOP and the challenger have made their case quite clear. They want to pretend that they can redistribute wealth and avoid being labelled socialist/communist. Then they have the gall to talk about nation under God. This race for the presidency is at most levels a race for which side of the tracks will control the most of the nation’s wealth. The real race is still about liberty for all and the absolute right to pursue happiness. By the looks of the GOP’s insensitive pitch, looming war, more reckless spending, denial of human rights, slighting women’s reproductive rights, they want the world to forget the sickness of capitalism, the enslavement of Africans, the rape of the American continent, and the shame of having everything for sale.

The land of the free is full of chains and walls. Freedom is a farce when CNN and Fox can pretend to be information-houses while they openly side with the right to be intolerant, striving to be champions of a consistent view of the world, the poor and God.

The only brave in the land seem to be those who want to silence the voice of real freedom. We have seen a few brave individuals who will face and speak the truth about Islam, Zionism, Judaism, and the popular prostitution of Christianity. People can see where Gov. Romney stands: against the first honourable attempt to care medically for all Americans. This, more than anything else, paints the picture of the GOP racing for the cash cow.

The Silence is Ironic

If people were thinking that a revolution was really happening in the Middle East they can start thinking again.  The states being racked by protests and revolts have shown their true colour: repression, cruelty, ignorance, and religious phoniness.  The neighbours seem  to lack the courage to condemn the use of military power to suppress the call for freedom.

The casualties caused by government troops in Syria, Libya, and by Islamic miltants in Pakistan are not heroes, not yet.   The survivors need reliable allies.  It is diagnostic that the honourable voices in these countries are no-where to be found.  The Arab League and Islam have failed to show their connection to Arab and Islamic populations.  How can any sane person, westerner or easterner, put any confidence in dictatorships and imams who seem willing to be silent about their own failures?

Is it really hard to explain how so much religious tradition be a hindrance to justice and freedom?  One should not forget the devastating effect of western imperialism, Jewish Zionism, bigotry from Pacific powers, Russian oligarchy and others.  It would seem that people are assuming that there is a corollary to western justice.  I do not want to assume anything when there is so much evidence of moral bankruptcy, which makes Middle Eastern corruption easy to explain, but nontheless daunting to terminate.

With  both west and east climbing the wannabe pole of Judeo with smatterings of Christianity) and a commitment to human dignity in Islamic states.  One would also have to cover one’s eyes to explain how citizens of Canada can be engaged in peaceful resolution of crucial issues.  No one should be holding their breath for religious groups in these crumbling states to break into the silence.  Death and other really bad stuff await them.  The absence of moderate Islamic voices  is predictably shocking.  Is it possible that milions even in North America whose voices we have been inclined to call moderate are acquiescing over the denial of human rights, the iconization of unspeakable violence.  What could they be waiting for? Are they waiting for a backlash from Canadians?  People are beginning to peek past the rhetoric of politicans and clerics.  Many religious Canadian reject violence as a means to establish either religion or secularity, and their failure speak out shows that irony, as the nature of the world ruling powers, has already advanced to the doorstep of dirt-cheap propaganda.
